I made at least five creative wallpapers, sketched my heart out, and created a storyboard for a motion graphics peice the same day I saw this animation. It was simply -that- inspiring. Shotopop is definitely something to look out for if your into animation, motion graphics, or any sort of visual design. The music is the perfect theme to the dark, somber, and slightly hopeful animation and it’s definitely worth using as a precedent for animations with no distinct narrative structure, but imply there is a strong one. Animation students should heed the animation’s creative direction and take it as an example towards their own work.
